Are there mandatory coverages?
To rent a vehicle, it is mandatory to have Vehicle Damage and Theft (CDW-TP) coverage and protection against damage to third parties (TPL)
Both can be purchased at the counter when picking up the vehicle.
What are the requirements to rent a car with Enterprise Rent a car?
- Be at least 25 years old (an Underage fee will apply from 21 to 24 years old)
- Passport
- Driver's License up to date and at least 1 year after it was issued
- Credit card
What if I have a driver's license, but I'm under 25?
Only a person with a daily driver's license over or equal to 21 years of age can rent the vehicle. Between 21 and 25, an underage fee applies, which is US$10 per day.

Can I buy coverage days after I pick up the car?
Yes, you only need to come to one of our offices to make the change.
Can I return the car to another country?
No, the car cannot leave the country.
Can I return the car to another office or to the hotel where I am staying?
You can return the vehicle to any of our offices for an additional fee. If you want to return the vehicle elsewhere, contact us to check if it's possible and to give you the corresponding amount.
Do cars have a toll payment system?
No, tolls must be paid directly by the driver in cash.
What happens if I lose my car keys or papers?
You must call the assistance service or contact the agency where you rented the vehicle.
An additional charge will be made for the replacement of these.
What to do in the event of a traffic accident?
Call the insurance company and wait for the inspector to arrive. This service is free and available 24/7 all year round. Call 911 and report the accident for a traffic officer to arrive. Call Enterprise Rent a car and report the accident.
